A Truly Hilarious Comedy Show

The Butler and The Maid show is the brain child of musician and comedy entertainer, Dendee. It is based on the interaction between a sophisticated, well to do, British gentleman’s gentleman, and his wife, a street wise New York maid from a not so well rounded background. The Butler, blinded by his love for the maid seems unaware that his once impeccable standards are more than a little diminished. On stage he discreetly seeks continuous approval from the maid as he performs hilarious songs, and verbal renditions that he would once have considered vulgar and professionally inappropriate. When addressing the audience the butler attempts to remain calm as the maid continuously harasses and interrupts him with her tacky remarks. He is also perhaps a little naïve, as he continues to take advice from the maid on etiquette, good taste, and proper behavior in America. He does his best to remain dignified in the many embarrassing situations that ensue from this unusual relationship.

The Welcoming Ceremony

As an extra feature, you may also hire The Butler & The Maid to provide a special and memorable welcome for your guests. Upon arrival, guests will be jointly welcomed by the Butler and the Maid. The Butler will then announce each individual guest as they enter the room. The hosts may wish to give prior information to the Butler on any guest needing a specialized announcement. Be prepared for a few mistakes and some unusual antics during the announcement process as his eyesight is failing, his hearing isn’t too good and he has lost a few of his marbles.

Dinner Service

The Butler and the Maid do not normally serve dinner or wait tables as this could be a complete disaster. During dinner service they may simply make their presence know to the hosts and their guests. With prior arrangement the Butler can also be available to make announcements at this time.

The Comedy and Music Show

Once dinner is over, the guests can settle down to watch the Butler and the Maid’s hilarious comedy and music show.

Show time is approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes.

About the Maid

A former chorus girl, The Maid met The Butler while in the witness protection program. A sucker for a man in a tux, she fell head over heels in love! “He ain’t like no other guy I ever met! That little Limey’s got class!”

Caution: Do not get too close to this woman’s duster, it could be dangerous to your health.

About the Butler

Born in London, England, he attended the prestigious butler’s finishing school, but didn’t finish. He finds people very annoying and doesn’t appreciate being told what to do.

All songs in the show were written by The Butler, a failed pop star.
Many of the song titles and lyrics are the suggestion of The Maid. This combination has produced some very unusual songs.

Released under the name, Dendee, many of the songs have received airplay on major radio stations worldwide.
